Over the summer, the Faire community constructed virtually within our very first online trade show event, Faire Summer Market. We were eager to find over 26,000 new relationships were made between brands and retailers, plus show specials saved participating retailers over $2 million during the event. The complete Faire group was profoundly inspired by this community’s capability to adapt to a new way of buying and selling.
Exactly like our summer collection, Faire Winter Market will feature promotion-matching from Faire. Attendees will also enjoy an additional full day of purchasing and selling, new on-demand video content, in addition to the launch of Faire’s new preorder marketplace, solely for our apparel community.
Buy and sell for three full days
After our two-day summer event, we heard from Faire retailers that they wanted much more time to store the market. That’s the reason we’ve expanded Faire Winter Market to three full days. This excess day provides buyers more time to locate all of the newest products and promotions which producers have to offer.
Plus, we’re beginning a brand new, redesigned brand directory in early January that will give retailers more resources and time to plan their buying for the function.
Love promotion-matching by Faire
Faire is once again dedicated to matching discounts provided by manufacturers throughout the event, around 10%. We’re doing this so that our producers can provide deeper discounts to retailers at no additional cost. We hope that discount-matching can help promote the total Faire community during the winter buying season.

Connect virtually through on-demand video content
At our first summer market in August, we introduced livestreaming so that engaging brands can share their stories and products in more detail. During Faire Winter Market, all brands will have the opportunity to feature pre-recorded video content.
Brands will be able to upload pre-recorded videos so that retailers can watch their content on demand. We’re excited to offer this new format so that our community members can create, view, and rewatch programming with more flexibility.

Experience the launch of Faire’s preorder marketplace for apparel
We’ve learned from our apparel community how important trade shows are for discovering new lines, linking with brands, and planning seasonal stock ahead. That’s the reason we’re eager to begin a distinctive preorder marketplace for apparel, just in time for Faire Winter Market.
Retailers will be able to preorder product from countless apparel brands starting their most recent collections at Faire Winter Market. All preorders placed in the event will receive free shipping, covered by Faire.
This completely new preorder experience will begin punctually for Faire Winter Market, but will live on beyond the three-day event so that retailers can continue to place apparel preorders for each their 2021 purchasing. We can’t wait to share this improved experience for buying and selling apparel on Faire with our community.
